We're beat, but we're here.

For your irony of ironies moment of the day, check this out... We travel across the country, from the Southeast to the Midwest, only to eat dinner at bar/restaurant called Bayou, specializing in Cajun food (of sorts).

It was busier and louder than what we wanted, but we didn't have the strength to go anywhere else (plus the wind is whippin' pretty cold outside tonight — and we walked from the hotel!). What made it all worthwhile though were the sweet potato fries with the garlic-chipolte aioli. For our entrees, Candy had the Arriabbatta while I had the Pork Tenderloin (check the menu for details).

The hotel is awesome. More later.
