The Georgia Aquarium (Unmeaning Flattery)

The Georgia Aquarium is a great place to take the family and learn more about the world of fish and water.

Once you're inside, they have five different sections:

Georgia Explorer
Petting pools where you can get your hands on rays, sharks, shrimp and horseshoe crabs

River Scout
Piranha, river otters and tons of fish.

Cold Water Quest
Penguins, seals, sea lions and beluga whales — plus a petting pool with sea anemone.

Ocean Voyager
Whale sharks, tons of fish.

Tropical Diver
Pretty fish, coral reefs and such.

For a little bit more money, there is also a 4-D theater where you can watch a 20 minute animated movie featuring Deepo, the mascot of the Georgia Aquarium. It was here that I had my first real Alex challenge as one of his guardians without his mom around.

Nine Inch Nails "Year Zero"

The as-of-yet-unreleased new album from Nine Inch Nails. Comes out April 17th. Trent Reznor has released a couple advance tracks on the internets. Sounds promising. A lot like his old album BROKEN.
