Turning On Tails

Last week Alex and I were walking Argus and Freya (Alex's dog — less than a year old, breed unknown) around the neighborhood. Without prompting Alex told me he had picked up a penny. As if he needed a justification, he quickly added, “It was about to turn on tails.”
