Shannon and Alex left yesterday. Last night they camped in North Carolina and suffered a loud, nearby group of campers (Shannon said they looked like hippies) and a fearsome thunderstorm in the middle of the night.
Shannon sent me this message this morning:

When we woke up this morning, the campsite was full of fog and/or clouds, and Alex said, “Mom, we woke up into a dream.”
