Photoshop-assisted artistic rendering of a picture Shannon took from the train in Hungary as the sun was setting over a field of petal-less flowers. (2009)
In her brilliant blog post, Lessons from Serbia, Shannon wrote:
So I took a few photos of Hungary from the train window, all of which turned out too blurry to be useful here, except maybe this one, of the sun setting over one of many sunflower fields we passed. Most of the petals had dropped off the flowers, though, so the tops were brown and crinkly.
I took her photo and jazzed it up a bit as a colorful painting, courtesy of the artistic filters in Photoshop.
P.S. Shannon's blog post is your Link of the Day.
