Not much to say. Just realized I never posted the follow-up from the other day.

My dad is visiting Shannon, Alex, Ray, Wolfie and whoever else I left out.

Wish I was there.

Nine Inch Nails "With Teeth"

Live drumming adds a gritty subtext to Trent's vitriolic lieder. For my generation, when Trent is at his best, he is giving voice to a part of our psyche most of us didn't even know existed. In hearing the words chanted, murmured or screamed, self-awareness broadens and opportunities for change are created. No throw-away tracks here, but my favorite is easily "Getting Smaller": I think I'm losing my grip, but I can still make a fist. Beautiful.
