Today is Candy's birthday. We are celebrating.
She hasn't mentioned the fact that it's her first birthday without the Old Man. So — shhhhhh! — let's not remind her. She never reads this blog anyway.
For the rest of you, enjoy today's wonderful picture of Candy and Old Red. The whole glowing eye demon dog thing is played out, but you can't beat the expression utter happiness on her face. Her favorite moments were in the evening when she and The Boy could spend time together in close contact with each other. Mother and child indeed.
