Watched The Incredibles this evening on cable. No, not my first time. Yes, I saw it in the theatre (plus the short in front of it, Boundin', was great as well - the Jackelope rules!).

Pixar never ceases to amaze. A thoroughly entertaining movie, The Incredibles is, hands down, the best James Bond movie without being a James Bond movie ever — all that secret island base stuff is awesome. Music is tops too.

David Holmes "Essential Mix 1997"

BBC Radio 1 hosts Essential Mixes, where they allow artists, producers, DJs, etc., to come into the studio and play whatever they want, however they want. If you know where to look online, you can find these mixes archived usually at a cost of a couple hundred megabytes a piece. David Holmes' Essential Mix is an eclectic mix of classics of yesterday (I mean yesterday's yesterday), old funk and groovy breakbeats. Awesome!
