Kaizer's Orchestra "Ompa til du dør"

Whenever I hear something like "The most exciting band on the Norwegian rock scene!" my first thought is, well, exactly how exciting is the Norwegian rock scene? Well, forget about the fact these guys are Norwegian — this hot fusion rock-folk mix of guitar, pump organ and, yes, oil barrels, is an other worldly pop rock band that I'd only heard before in my dreams. Part Tom Waits, part Pogues, part 80's synth band Japan and part gutter god inspiration, Kaizer's Orchestra is a joy of new music.
