My dad worked in Greenland in the mid 1960's. Your image today is of him working on something in Narsarsuaq. Photo courtesy of the NOAA project archive (your Link of the Day).
My dad once wrote of this photo:
I was 22 and running about a mile every day.
A few years ago he told me stories about Greenland, but those will have to wait for another day.
