Awesome Sunset Clouds (Unmeaning Flattery)

Saw these clouds from the parking lot of Best Buy this evening. As luck would have it, I had my camera with me in the car (along with The Boys waiting patiently). All the other pictures have cars and trees and wires and telephone poles in them. This shot was a zoom on the clouds.

Love those colours.

Cleveland Orchestra and Christoph Von Dohnanyi "Schubert: Symphony No. 8, "Unfinished""

This CD was out-of-print for a number of years. I've always suspected that the reason was due to the excessive dynamic range of this recording of Schubert's Unfinished Symphony. It is so quiet for so long until it really gets going. Link is to the Telarc product page for what appears to be the same performance re-released. I have not listened to it to determine if it is the same recording. Also includes Beethoven's Eighth Symphony.
